I consider myself to be a diligent, committed, and aspirational individual. I am qualified to provide competent and precise legal advice in a range of practice areas, including property, business, and immigration law. I have real-world experience working in the legal field, where I have proven to be reliable and have mastered the skill of adhering to schedules and prioritising duties to complete jobs by the deadlines despite a demanding workload. Being structured and carrying out my responsibilities in accordance with the maxim "do it nice or do it twice" help me achieve this.
I work well independently, and I make a great team player. There is always more to learn, but I pick things up quickly, and I become motivated by new challenges since they provide me a chance to use and broaden my skill set.
I am currently working as a Corporate Lawyer, with my practice also expanding into Wills and Administration, as well as Land Law. As an active member of the Bar Association, I am deeply engaged in the legal profession and committed to providing comprehensive legal services.
Alongside my corporate and legal work, I maintain a strong interest in foreign affairs and EU law, areas that reflect my passion for diplomacy and international relations.
Oikonomakis Law, is an International Law Firm which has over twenty offices around the world. Each office has a minimum of one expert lawyer and one paralegal which makes the perfect team to tackle any kind of matter that the clients bring forth.
My role in the firm was the Leading Lawyer of the first instance of Cyprus, which placed me as the chief project manager, decision maker and executor of all cases that are brought to our office. This includes a variety of legal problems such as Immigration Law, Property Law and Civil Law.
After my training contract was up, PC&V LLC was gracious enough to extend me a fixed-term contract. During this time, I had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, most of which included business law, an area in which I can now claim with certainty that I am extremely well-versed.
I had the opportunity to work in different areas of law during my training, which allowed me to choose which area of law I love the best. Even though my employment with Covid began around that time, I was still permitted to go to court proceedings and frequently defend clients. In addition, I was able to go to government offices to complete all of our clients' responsibilities and demands and even to submit any required applications on their behalf.
During my second year of University I was given the opportunity to shadow a full time lawyer. I was empowered to take part in all the meetings and all the procedures, always following the guidance of my supervisor. Throughout this experience I was taught more "practical" law, since I was face to face with real practitioners for the first time ever.
