● Evaluation of all patients hospitalized in the surgery clinic (including vital signs, labs, full patient history and clinical examination twice when on duty and once the next day before reporting to the next resident on duty);

● Pre-, peri- and post-operative assessment and management of surgery patients;

● General Surgery outpatient clinic operations;

● Assessment and management of emergency cases when on duty;

● Patient admission and discharge procedures.

-Clinical examination, diagnosis and management of Covid-19 positive patients arriving in the Emergency Department.

- Provision of basic medical care

- Arterial blood sampling and phlebotomies

- Case investigation

- Deciding whether a patient is to be admitted or discharged

- Updating patient medical records

- Patient communication and interaction

- Familiarization with the clinical environment and its surroundings

- Observation of clinical procedures performed by medical professionals

- Surgical hand washing, use of personal protective equipment and spectating of surgeries in different subspecialties.

-Arterial blood sampling, phlebotomies and further practical maneuvers.

- Medical history taking, clinical examination and observation of the responsibilities of a Paediatrician

- Vaccine administration
